Kelly Casanova has been teaching West Coast Swing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area since 1981. She has spent much of her career traveling throughout the United States competing, teaching, and judging. Kelly holds several Championship titles, including:

  • 1988 U.S. Open Classic Swing Dance Championship

  • 1994 U.S. Open Jack & Jill Championship

In addition to the above titles, Kelly has received  several local awards for contributions to swing, as well as, an award from the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame. She is a member of the World Swing Dance Council and has served on the Executive Advisory Committee of the U.S. Open.

Kelly has taught workshops and judged at a variety of major national conventions, including The US. Open Swing Dance Championships, The National Swing Dance Championships, The American Swing Dance Championships, The World's Swing Dance Championships, The Grand Nationals, and the Phoenix 4th of July Swing Convention.

Kelly instructs in classes, workshops, groups, and privately. She conducts various workshops and events in the San Francisco Bay area and weekly classes in Santa Rosa and Mill Valley.
