The Redwood Empire Swing Dance Club (RESDC) is located in Sonoma County, California. The Club is a nonprofit corporation. The object and purpose of the club is to encourage and foster “Swing” dancing and to cultivate and promote good fellowship and loyalty among its members. We accomplish this through dances, social functions, lessons, entertainment, and special activities. Membership is open to any person regardless of race, color, religion, gender, handicap, family status, sexual preference, or national origin. Membership dues are thirty dollars ($30.00) per year. This entitles members to: voting privileges; a copy of the "Swing Times Newsletter"; reduced rates at RESDC dances and various other dances sponsored by other clubs. Members are also entitled to serve on the Board as well as the various club committees. We welcome and encourage all dancers who have an interest in Swing Dance to join our club. This includes the absolute beginner to the most advanced dancers. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, warm community with a common interest in dance. We hope you will join us.
